LOCATION / TRAVEL

  • I am a wedding photographer based in Glasgow and available to photograph weddings throughout Scotland and even further afield. I specialise in elopement weddings and am happy to travel internationally to help you capture the memories of that special day.

  • Unusual Scottish wedding locations and outdoor weddings are more than welcome! I regularly travel to Scotland’s best elopement wedding venues and always love the chance to photograph somewhere new.

  • Travel within 50 miles of Glasgow is free of charge. Scottish weddings that take place further away from Glasgow are subject to travel costs (£0.45 per each mile beyond the 50 mile radius) and in some cases accommodation may be needed. Please get in touch and we can chat about the details.

BOOKING / PAYMENT

  • Try to book well in advance and make sure to get your date secured by paying a deposit - the earlier the better! My calendar fills up fast, so if your date is free at the point of enquiry and you'd like me to be your wedding photographer, don't leave it too late.

  • Once the deposit is paid your booking is confirmed. The remaining balance is to be paid 10 days before the wedding date and is crucial to make everything work on your big day. Bank transfer is by far the best way to do it, being convenient and giving both sides a record of the transaction.

PRE-WEDDING CONSULTATION

  • Whether it's to discuss the details, make the final decision about the booking or get to know the person who will be by your side with a camera all day - it's great to meet before the wedding. I think of wedding photography as something very personal and it helps a lot if we meet some time before the wedding day.

  • The pre-wedding consultation is free and if there's anything you want to discuss before or after I'm happy to answer your questions via email or telephone.
Please note due to the nature of my work I'm often unable to take calls - please send me a text message if it's urgent!

PLANNING

  • Try and plan the your wedding day ahead – allow time for your guests flocking to congratulate you. Above all, make sure you leave some time for us to do a proper photoshoot and if possible let me know what the order of the day is going to be.

  • Of course, weddings can be flexible and things may change during the day but it's great to know the starting point.

  • If you'd like me to take any formal/family shots, please make a list and find someone who'll be in charge of rounding people up (someone who knows your guests and family!). It will help a lot and save you a lot of stress and time - leaving more time for you to enjoy the wedding day.

COPYRIGHT / LICENCE

  • Every package includes a personalized USB and a disc with high resolution photos. You are allowed (and encouraged) to use them for any personal purposes – whether it's making prints, uploading to social media or making a wedding book. If possible, please link to my page/website – it will help me to reach out to more people.

  • Any use of the images related to you and your wedding is fine - and anything to do with promoting companies, services etc requires obtaining my written permission first. I assume the right to use photos from your wedding to promote my wedding photography business - but if I was ever to use them for anything else I'd first ask you for permission.

  • Copyright is a tricky subject and a lot of people get it wrong. Essentially I hold the copyright to all images but you're granted unlimited and perpetual licence for personal use of the photos. Share them and enjoy with your family and friends and if you'd like prints, books or albums choose whether you'd like to leave it with me or do it yourself.
